Product Features and Technical Details
Size and Structure
Diameter: 7 mm
Total Length: 210 mm
Usable Length: Approximately 150 mm
Shank Type: SDS Plus. This shank is specifically designed for rotary hammer drills (breaker/drills) with a hammering mechanism.
Material Properties and Tip Structure
Body Material: High-quality alloy steel, heat-treated to withstand high impact and bending stresses.
Cutting Tip (Carbide Tip): The drilling surface of the tip uses raw material that provides superior hardness and wear resistance. This carbide tip effectively breaks and drills hard materials like concrete and stone.
Tip Design: 2-flute and 2-cutter
Flute Design: Features a special flute (spiral) design that effectively removes dust and debris generated during drilling. This prevents clogging, allows for faster drilling, and helps cool the bit.
Areas of Use and User Information
Dowel and Anchor Applications: The 7 mm diameter is ideal for drilling pilot holes for common anchor sizes such as M6 or M8.
Electrical Installations: Drilling holes for cable ducts or pipe clamps.
Plumbing and Heating Systems: Drilling mounting holes for pipe clamps and hanging systems.
General Construction and Renovation: Drilling necessary holes for mounting various structural elements.
Suitable Materials for Drilling
When used with SDS Plus drills with a hammering function, this drill bit performs exceptionally well in the following hard construction materials:
Concrete (Standard and lightly reinforced)
Natural Stone (Granite, marble, etc.)
Brick and Masonry
Breeze Blocks and Aerated Concrete
Usage Tips
Correct Machine: Use only with rotary hammer drills with an SDS Plus chuck. Standard (keyed/keyless) chucks or merely hammer drills are not suitable.
Hammer Mode: When drilling in concrete, stone, and brick, set your machine to hammer drilling mode.
Cooling: To protect the bit from overheating, especially in deep holes, allow the bit to cool down by pausing the drilling process.
| Sector | Application Areas |
| Construction | Formwork, scaffolding, and structural anchor installations. |
| Electrical Installations | Socket, switch, cable duct, and junction box installations. |
| Plumbing & HVAC | Installation of pipe and ventilation hanging systems. |
| Renovation & Restoration | Creating new mounting points in existing structures. |
| Landscaping & Stonework | Drilling fixing holes in hard surfaces. |
This drill bit combines durability, speed, and precision, allowing you to complete even your most challenging concrete drilling tasks with confidence.
Important Notes
Working Length: With a total length of 210 mm, the effective drilling depth (working length) you can achieve is generally around 160 mm. This is ideal for short and shallow holes.
Drilling and Reinforcement: Standard two-cutter bits may experience a loss of performance or get damaged if they encounter steel reinforcement (rebar) in reinforced concrete structures. For drilling heavily reinforced concrete, it is recommended to use specially designed 4-cutter (quadro) or multi-cutter bits.
