Duyar 017 Cement Trowel

Duyar 017 Kale Terrasite Trowel

Smooth Exterior Coatings, Flawless Pattern Work and Ergonomic Professional Performance

The application of heavily filled and textured materials such as kale terrasite (granular render/scratched render) used on building exteriors, corridors, or in decorative wall applications, requires high skill and the right equipment. Standard mortar trowels or ordinary plastic spatulas cannot spread kale terrasite render evenly over the surface; they cause the material to stick to the trowel surface and prevent the uniform line/grain patterns that give the render its true aesthetic value from being properly formed. The Duyar 017 Kale Terrasite Trowel has been developed with a special smooth base technology, flexible body structure, and an ergonomic handle design that prevents hand fatigue, to achieve the highest aesthetic results in decorative render applications and increase the craftsman's work speed. Its durable body architecture, ability to guide the kale terrasite render, and professional mold bring maximum speed, flawless pattern quality, and long-lasting user comfort to your construction projects.

Why Choose the Duyar 017 Kale Terrasite Trowel?

For those who want to effortlessly shape thick decorative renders on vertical or horizontal surfaces, prevent material waste, and work without fatigue, this product offers the following strategic advantages:

Excellent Patterning and Grain Drawing Capability: The small stones and minerals within the kale terrasite render need to rotate freely under the trowel to create ideal line or grain patterns. Thanks to its smooth base structure, the Duyar 017 glides over the render, shaping the material perfectly without clumping it.

Light and Balanced Body Structure: Intense exterior coating jobs can last for hours and lead to severe muscle pain in the arms. This trowel, with its optimal weight balance, minimizes the load on the wrist and allows you to perform high-volume work all day without getting tired.

Special Surface Preventing Material Adhesion: Thanks to the smooth surface texture that makes it difficult for mortar to accumulate and set on the trowel, it reduces the need for continuous trowel cleaning during work, ensuring uninterrupted workflow.

Technical Strength: Abrasion Resistance, Flexibility, and Chemical Resistance

This 017 model trowel, produced with the quality of Duyar, one of Turkey's established hand tool manufacturers, shows high resistance to the most aggressive chemicals and abrasions in construction environments:

High Resistance to Cement and Chemicals: It has high abrasion and corrosion resistance against protective chemicals, acrylic copolymers, and cement-based components found in kale terrasite and decorative renders. It serves for many years without its structure deteriorating.

Break-Resistant and Flexible Form: It has an ideal degree of flexibility according to the pressure applied to the wall during application. This flexibility ensures that the render absorbs wall surface undulations (humps) in the best possible way, achieving a smooth coating thickness.

Easy-to-Clean Body: After your work is done, render residues remaining on the trowel can be easily cleaned in seconds with water and a light brush. When stored clean, it maintains its original smooth performance on every project.

User Experience: Flawless Decoration and Ergonomic Grip Comfort

When you incorporate the Duyar 017 kale terrasite trowel into your decoration projects, you will experience these great comforts during application:

Secure, Non-Slip Handle Design: The trowel's handle fits perfectly in the hand and does not slip, even if the craftsman's hand is damp or dirty from render. This allows you to precisely transfer your millimeter-level hand movements to the wall when forming patterns.

Fast Leveling with Large Surface Area: Thanks to its optimal dimensions, you can cover a large area on the wall in a single pass and quickly finish the render. This is a significant time advantage, especially for exterior facade craftsmen working against the clock on scaffolding.

Professional Results for Home Users: Not only professionals but also DIY users who want to apply decorative effect render or fill behind exposed stone on a wall in their home can achieve clean results, as if done by a master, thanks to the ease of use of this product.

Main Application Areas: From Exterior Facades to Decorative Interior Walls

The Duyar 017 Kale Terrasite Trowel is the most essential hand tool for all heavily textured decorative coating and render applications:

Kale Terrasite (Granular and Scratched) Render Applications: For spreading and patterning the final decorative kale terrasite coatings applied on building exteriors after thermal insulation (cladding).

Effect and Acrylic-Based Interior Renders: For the application of effect interior renders, Italian render derivatives, and textured wall coverings that offer a modern look in offices, hotel lobbies, or homes.

Mosaic and Mineral Render Works: In the processes of homogeneously adhering and polishing (finishing) mosaic renders containing small colored stone particles to the wall surface.

Cladding and Render Leveling Works: In exterior facade cladding systems, during the stages of smoothing the surface and preparing it for the final coating after the mesh render application.
